Dentsu Live Receives Multiple Awards, Including the Grand Prix, at Spikes Asia 2021, One of Asia-Pacific's Largest Advertising Festivals

The Spikes Asia 2021* judging results were announced on March 4, in which “The Ocean: Future Masterpieces” (Client: Yokohama Hakkeijima Inc.), produced by Dentsu Live in collaboration with Dentsu Inc. and Dentsu Digital Inc., was recognized with Grand Prix awards in the Digital and Digital Craft categories for its outstanding digital solution and idea.
Additionally, “’12⁵ Cakes’, an Enigmatic Cake Shop that Predicts your Future” (Client: LUMINE Co., Ltd.), a project that involved Dentsu Live for its planning and production, was also recognized with Grand Prix awards in the Digital and Digital Craft categories.
Another project Dentsu Live was involved in, “TUNA SCOPE 2020” (Agency: Dentsu Inc.; Client: Kura Sushi, Inc.), was also recognized with an Innovation Spike in the Innovation category and Gold and Silver awards in the Mobile category.
In total, the Dentsu Group, including its overseas offices, was presented with 41 awards in 14 categories (3 Grand Prix, 1 Innovation Spike, 5 Gold, 10 Silver, and 22 Bronze), and given the “Network of the Year” award which is presented to the most creative network.

* Spikes Asia, held annually in Singapore with the goal of recognizing and celebrating outstanding creativity in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, is one of the region’s largest advertising festivals. Although the 2020 festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, judging results were announced online in 2021.
